Dating from around 1850 they are veneered in well chosen Satin Birch with Rosewood details. Mid victorian Burr Walnut Veneered Davenport in excellent condition. This piece has managed to retain its orignal leather, writing surface is in good condition. With a set of full length drawers on the righthand side and dummy drawer fronts to the left, The rising paper compartment is released by a secret button. This is a British made desk made in around 1860. It is idea. for a home office enviroment as a it is very compact and would fit in any modern home office. It would make a perfect laptop desk as the writing slop is the perfect angle.
