Mid Victorian Burr Walnut Veneered Davenport in excellent condition. This piece has managed to retain its original leather, writing surface is in good condition. With a set of full length drawers on the right hand side and dummy drawer fronts to the left, The rising paper compartment is released by a secret button.This is a British made desk made in around 1860. It is idea. for a home office environment as a it is very compact and would fit in any modern home office. It would make a perfect laptop desk as the writing slop is the perfect angle.
